how do u spell kazakhstan again?

in our circle, there has been a lot of talk about kazakhstan lately...

you see, we see our group as the next big thing. by that, i dont mean
fame or fortune but i wouldnt mine if it did happen. :)

our next big thing is actually being able to finally make a move on our future.
and though that future may find us taking different directions,
we have promised to keep in touch .... and to meet in ....
that's right! kazakhstan!!!!

why kazakhstan?!? well, it seems one of the places we "think" we
can afford, a few years from now.

but based on these prices, it is not that cheap...

this was taken by my sister in her 1st interstate drive in the land of
milk and honey.

God gave my sister a very unique birthday gift.

her 1st out of country plane ride.
a new job in an exciting career.
lots of opportunity to travel.

i had hoped for the same thing.
actually, just the job part. :)
but things are not to be....
just yet...

patience is a virtue...
and prayers can work wonders...

Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility was published when she was at my age.

and yes, if i had lived during her time, i would be like her, a spinster....

but i dont feel like one.

by definition, a spinster is an elderly, unmarried woman. i may be unmarried but i am not 'yet' elderly. not by a stretch! :)

i do however hope that i would be more of the bridget jones type...the one who finally gets to share the rest of her life with someone really special...
