spinster

Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility was published when she was at my age.

and yes, if i had lived during her time, i would be like her, a spinster....

but i dont feel like one.

by definition, a spinster is an elderly, unmarried woman. i may be unmarried but i am not 'yet' elderly. not by a stretch! :)

i do however hope that i would be more of the bridget jones type...the one who finally gets to share the rest of her life with someone really special...
